About Me
Healing looks different for everyone — and after more than 20 years of clinical work, I've come to trust that the most meaningful change happens when therapy is tailored to the whole person. I draw on a range of approaches, including EMDR, the Gottman Method, attachment theory, and relational techniques, weaving them together in a way that fits your unique history, needs, and goals.
My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, anti-racist, and intersectional feminist lens — because feeling genuinely safe and seen is not a luxury in therapy, it's the foundation of it.
I have a deep and abiding belief in the power of mindfulness and self-compassion — not as abstract concepts, but as living practices that can quietly and profoundly shift the way we relate to ourselves and others. Drawing from the latest mind-body research, I work with clients to cultivate that inner steadiness and connection.
I also bring specialized training in psychedelic preparation and integration, having studied psychedelic facilitation through the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics. This work holds a particular place in my practice — I find it a privilege to accompany people through some of their most transformative experiences.
I’m a researcher at heart and my curiosity as a clinician has always extended beyond the therapy room. My doctoral research on the healing potential of nature — particularly in addressing body image disturbances — has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Ecopsychology, reflecting a longstanding belief that our relationship with the natural world is part of our relationship with ourselves.
